Too Fat to Fly? One Airline Thinks Director Kevin Smith is Just That

Southwest Airlines apparently has no love for the heavier set. Director Kevin Smith was kicked off a plane for being a safety risk due to his width, supposedly. Southwest is no stranger to controversy when it comes to selectively dismissing passengers for their weight, length of skirts, crying babies, etc. This time however they've discriminated against the wrong fellow. Smith has a huge Twitter following and the incident has brought on a torrent of angry posts aimed squarely at the airlines policy http://bit.ly/aifgyJ.

Kevin Smith was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight from Oakland to Burbank, Calif., Saturday because he was deemed too fat for the seats, he wrote in a barrage of angry Twitter posts.



The Clerks and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back director said he was booted by the captain after he was seated because he was considered a "safety risk."
