RIP

If you've ever seen a pulpy crime drama, schlocky horror flick or serial television program over the last 40 years you've probably seen character actor Richard Lynch. And he was most likely a bad guy. He passed away yesterday at age 76 at his home in Palm Springs, California. His scarred face was unmistakable and it enabled him to play villains in everything from 'Battlestar Galactica' to 'Star Trek:TNG' to 'Invasion USA'. Rob Zombie, who directed Lynch in the 2007 remake of
Halloween, broke the news on his Facebook
page:
I woke up this morning to the news that our friend RICHARD LYNCH has passed away. Richard was great to work with and really gave it his all. I will never forget the way he scared the crap out of the kid actors in HALLOWEEN. As soon as I said action! He dove in his role of Principle Chambers at top volume. He will be missed.
Richard, Sheri, RZ and Malcolm on the set of HALLOWEEN.
His extensive credits covers the history of pop culture and I decided to post some of the projects I remember the most from
