SDCC: 'Man of Steel' Poster and Teaser Details

Director Zack Snyder and star Henry Cavill were part of the upcoming 'Man of Steel' film panel and released a teaser trailer to the audience in the hall at the San Diego Comic-Con. The teaser will be running before 'The Dark Knight Rises' in theaters July 20 but the reaction from the con was mostly positive and optimistic. The tone of this Superman origin story was reported to be darker and more in line with producer Christopher Nolan's Batman films than previous movies. I saw some crappy leaked footage online (better to wait for an official release) and it appears to have a grander more epic weight to this Superman movie. It will have Supes in more combative action scenes too which is what fans have been waiting for. Still it's premature to fairly determine how good or bad this will be but if Snyder/Nolan can't make it work then we may not see another attempt for a Superman movie in a long time.
