'The Walking Dead' Prison and Prison Zombies Photos

EW has the exclusive photos of the much anticipated prison of 'The Walking Dead' comic book series soon to appear on the live-action series on AMC. It appears that these photos reveal it's going to be a wonderfully bloody affair in clearing out the prison of hungry zombies. The prison was teased in the season finale of last season and now we get a closer look. Not only that but the upcoming season promises to introduce fan favorites, The Governor, Michonne and perhaps the return of Merle Dixon. Season 3 could be the best so far. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until October to see Rick and crew return to action. 

 In the first photo, our survivors assume a defensive, Avengers-like position to handle any incoming ghouls, while in the second, a machete wielding Maggie (Lauren Cohan) prepares to deliver a kill shot to a zombie inmate.
