New rumors about the much-maligned Warner Bros. superhero team-up movie, 'Justice League', has Christopher Nolan taking over producing duties and possibly including Christian Bale as Batman once again with Zack Snyder co-producing and perhaps directing according to Latino Review. This comes as welcomed news considering the initial script by Will Beall was trashed leaving WB to start from scratch. The already Nolan-produced Superman movie, 'Man of Steel', has gotten some positive industry buzz leading the way for a possible blockbuster and the justification for putting together their own 'Avengers'-type franchise closer to fruition. The pairing of Bale with Henry Cavill would be a good start to making that happen.
If these revelations are true then WB has indeed taken a more organized approach in bringing their next potential billion dollar franchises to movie houses. As is speculated, the competition of Marvel film franchises and the news of JJ Abrams taking over the Star Wars films has put pressure on WB to get their house in order. What better way than to have the man that developed the multi-billion dollar movie franchise of Batman to also godfather future superhero projects? The clock is ticking if they intend to release the 'Justice League' movie in the Summer of 2015 as originally planned. David Goyer could be involved in the new story for the script. I would expect to see a lot of collaborators Nolan has used in past films. These are all rumors sure but it makes sense to put the future of these films in the capable hands of Chris Nolan.
