'Batman/Superman' #1 - Comic Book Hot Pick (6/26/13)

The Dark Knight and the Man of Steel Join Forces in a Beautiful New Series
This new monthly series from writer Greg Pak and artist Jae Lee brings  a fast paced story of Batman and Superman's first meeting. Along the way they encounter Catwoman and a mystery begins to unfold in Metropolis. I enjoyed the last time these characters were paired in 'Superman/Batman' by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness. The personal dynamics between them are part of what makes them so enjoyable despite being virtual opposites. This should be no different. The beautifully rendered pages from Lee and the smart writing of Pak should make this a pull-worthy selection every month.
