'Batman vs Superman' Has a Leading Contender for Nightwing in Adam Driver

'Girls' Star is in the Casting Mix to Become Batman's Estranged Sidekick

The Wrap has just learned that Adam Driver of HBO's popular show,'Girls', is the leading contender to nab the role of Nightwing, Batman's former sidekick Robin, in the Man of Steel sequel. They also state that two other actors are also being considered but Driver certainly fits the "younger John Hawkes-type" actor being sought previously reported by Latino Review. 

Now I don't doubt Driver's ability as an actor but I never would have guessed he would be the frontrunner for the role. I'm sure the surprises will continue as Zack Snyder will join Kevin Smith tomorrow on Yahoo Movies to talk about Man of Steel. More to come, folks.
