The Other Non-Wonder Woman Revelations
Some the news lost amid the Wonder Woman casting of 'Fast and Furious' actress, Gal Gadot, was the additional tidbits reported by Variety. They report the Flash is considered a "lock" to appear in some capacity in the Man of Steel sequel. This could mean a mere cameo or more. Even Wonder Woman's appearance is unclear if it it'll be a substantial role in the movie. The dreaded fickle internet is worried that Superman's movie is turning into a Justice League ensemble. Not sure how that could be bad but the inclusion of more heroes could either complicate the as-of-yet unrevealed plot or merely set the foundation for more solo films ending in a possible team picture. There are many questions remaining and patience on the 'net is an oxymoron.
The other story is Warner Bros.' focus on Kiwi actor Callen Mulvey (Zero Dark Thirty, 300: Rise of an Empire, Captain America: The Winter Soldier) to play an unspecified villain in 'Batman vs Superman'. The immediate impression we get is he could be Lex Luthor considering the resemblance he has to the comic book character. He has a distinct look that reeks of smoldering menace. You can catch him next as Scyllias in the 300 sequel 300: Rise of an Empire coming out in March of 2014.
