Amazon Warrior Princess Comes to Life in Awesome Cosplay Shoot

We love all things Wonder Woman and in this installment of 'Wonder Woman of the Day' we are featuring the extraordinary work of cosplayer Meagan Marie. She went to great lengths and great expense to bring her Warrior Wonder Woman vision to fruition and she clearly hit it out of the park.

In the past we've featured models and athletes who've donned the iconic Wonder Woman outfit and have looked great, with varying and sometimes questionable costume authenticity, but not always with the passion and attention to detail that cosplayers have shown. A prime example is superstar cosplayer Yaya Han whom we've featured a few times because of her voracious appetite for exquisite costumes and flawless craftsmanship. Marie is just as diligent and the reason she's our 'Wonder Woman of the Day'.

This was a dream project in every sense of the word. As is true for many, Wonder Woman was a first for me – the first female superhero I was introduced to in the world of comics. She holds a really special place in my fandom, and while I love the stars, stripes, and satin tights of classic Wonder Woman, I’ve always been drawn to her Amazon origins. I pictured Diana as a warrior first and foremost, and wanted to bring my specific vision for her to life. - Meagan Marie
