The Show Amps Up the Tension with The Huntress, Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey and the Ultimate Showdown Against Deathstroke
The best comic book based television show, Arrow, isn't resting on its laurels but instead turning up the action and tension for the rest of season two. This action-packed trailer previews tonight's episode, The Promise, as well as footage from coming episodes featuring the newly formed villains united crew, the Suicide Squad, and the return of The Huntress. The CW hit is primed to bring Oliver Queen full circle with an inevitable showdown with friend turned arch enemy Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke.
The island-centered episode examines the rift between Ollie and Slade that leads to Slade's arrival in Starling City and his crusade against the Queens. Things should get sticky when Slade discovers that Ollie had a part in the death of Shado. Slade's Mirakuru-drugged mind should set him off and things between him and Ollie will never be the same ever again. An episode so epic that executive producer Marc Guggenheim has said, "This is the biggest episode we've ever done on the show to date."
