Young Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle Cast for Fox's 'Gotham'

The Boy Who Would Be Batman and His Eventual Foil Join the Batman Prequel

David Mazouz (Touch) will be the teenage Bruce Wayne in the Batman prequel, Gotham, for Fox television. The young actor won't be Batman for quite some time, not until the end of the series (which we hope considering its Fox won't be for a long time), but will seek guidance from his butler Alfred and pre-Commissioner James Gordon after the violent deaths of his parents.

Also cast was Camren Bicondova, a professional dancer and newcomer to acting, who'll be playing a teenage Selina Kyle (the future Catwoman)  decribed as a “teenage orphan who is suspicious and wholly unpredictable; a street thief and skilled pickpocket, she’s dangerous when cornered.”

The drama surrounds the life of the young Detective Gordon as he navigates the crime and corruption of Gotham City and emerging threat of soon to be famous villains. The young actors will join series regulars Donal Logue (Detective Harvey Bullock), Zabryna Guevara (Captain Essen), Erin Richards (Barbara Kean), Sean Pertwee (Alfred Pennyworth), Robin Lord Taylor (Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin), and Jada Pinkett Smith (Fish Mooney).

Executive Producer Bruno Heller (The Mentalist) wrote the pilot and Danny Cannon (Nikita) will direct as well as executive produce. Gotham already has a season commit from Fox.
