Set photos by and large are pretty worthless. It's great for filling copy on the site but without context really doesn't reveal much (unless of course it reveals a costume design). Thanks to Instagram a bystander watching filming of the Man of Steel sequel provided this close look at Gal Gadot as Diana Prince entering a car in Birmingham, Michigan. That is the long and short of it but here are some thoughts anyway.

I don't blame Gadot for not looking like the Amazon princess we've known and loved for decades. Gadot is a successful model and actress so I can reason why she was cast. Any actress would jump at the chance to play such an iconic figure. Unfortunately, she doesn't at this point embody Wonder Woman. She looks very slight by comparison of almost any version of WW we've seen so it will be vitally important to project a strong persona in her acting, of which we have little to go on, but I trust Zack Snyder and company know what they are doing.

(This is fitness competitor and all-around elite athlete Erin Stern as Wonder Woman photographed by Scott Harben. This is more of what I imagined WW would look like in a live-action feature.)
