Despite earlier unsubstantiated rumors involving Wonder Woman's costume, JoBlo has reported that their source has the inside scoop on what she'll really wear and other details about Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. If you haven't read the comic books then consider the following spoilers.
Previously, the word was that Wonder Woman could be using the costume design from the 'Odyssey' comic book storyline which included pants and a jacket. There wasn't much behind that rumor but it made for some interesting chatter for what would seem appropriate attire for Zack Snyder's version of the Amazon princess in his semi-realistic approach. Also, considering Gal Gadot's slight frame such a costume would conceal the less than Amazonian physique she's thus far displayed in set photos.
Joblo's trusted sources repeatedly describe the alleged Wonder Woman costume as "badass" and "battle ready."
She’ll have a blue leather skirt, silver-armored cuffs that reach to her elbows, golden tiara (with a design of some sort in the center, possibly the red star) and a variation of the traditional-looking red top (no word on additional armor on it).
She'll also use four weapons: sword, shield, spear and her iconic lasso. She will of course appear as "Diana" (duh) and have considerable screen time especially in the third act. Her origin will be left purposely unclear and hopefully might be addressed in her own solo movie.
As far as Batman goes he'll have a cottage down river from Wayne Manor with the Batcave underneath housing his Batmobile and Batwing. The relationship with Superman will also echo from the comics where they clash in demeanor and methods. Something that will irk the veteran battle-proven Dark Knight to no end.
Lex Luthor will of course be an egomaniac that will make sure to turn public opinion against the god-like Superman and fear monger the arrival of metahumans. In case you were wondering Lex is reportedly a long-haired red head.
The movie following the example from the comics isn't exactly earth-shattering news but it should help temper rabid fans who worry about such things as costumes, headquarters, and hair. The Wonder Woman "battle-ready" costume is probably the best kind to take on the unspecified villain and accentuate her warrior background. The first test will be the costume reveal because Gadot has to convince fans that she can embody the feminist icon.
