Lucy Lawless Adding Awesomeness to Season Two of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.


If there's one thing Agents of SHIELD could use is more geek cred and adding Xena: Warrior Princess herself, Lucy Lawless would be a huge boost. The popular actress is slated to appear on the show's second season in an undisclosed role. 


No word how many episodes she'll be on or if she'll be Hydra, SHIELD, or another Marvel character. Many are hoping she'll play a super-powered figure while others are bemoaning the fact she'll now be unavailable to appear for any DC project. 

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 9/8c on ABC.
