'Powers' Has Cast Susan Heyward as Deena Pilgrim


Susan Heyward (The Following) has been cast as the female lead on Sony Playstation Network's crime drama, Powers, based on the comic book series by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming. Also cast are Max Fowler (The Killing)  and Adam Godley (Breaking Bad, Suits). 


In a world that includes people with superhuman abilities Deena Pilgrim (Heyward) and Christian Walker are homicide detectives tasked with investigating those crimes committed by "powers." Heyward will play the smart and snarky partner to the uncast Walker in this genre gumbo that mixes noir, superhero, fantasy and police procedural. 

Fowler will play Krispin Stockley, the son of Walker's murdered partner, and Godley will play Captain Cross, head of the Powers division. The live-action comic book adaptation moved from FX to the fledgling SPS Network as its entry into original programming for the gaming device manufacturer.
