New 'Flash' Poster from The CW Hints at Some More DC World Building

The CW is promoting the new DC Comics adaptation of The Flash starring Grant Gustin with a new teaser poster full of interesting, or possibly interesting, Easter eggs that could point to more guest appearances. Premiering in just over a month, the new series is teasing fans with clues to what else could be in store for The Fastest Man Alive.

(Please take a look at the poster very closely to see if you can spot the clues before continuing.)

Now the Queen Consolidated building is visible in the background and Big Belly Burger near the foreground to the right. Looks like he's in Starling City. Across the street from the restaurant on the ground the graffiti reads "Grodd Lives". It can only mean Gorilla Grodd, the hyper-intelligent telepathic gorilla bent on ruling humanity. Or not.

The buildings marked Kord Enterprises and Ameritek tease an appearance by  Ted Kord/Blue Beetle and/or John Henry Irons/Steel respectively. It's possible we could easily see both as their civilian personas.

Let us know if you spot anything we missed.

The Flash premieres on the CW on October 7.

  1. It doesn't necessarily have to be Starling City; it could be the Central City branch of Queen Consolidated, much like how Wayne Enterprises has a Metropolis branch and the Daily Planet has a Gotham Bureau.

I'm pretty sure Big Belly Burger would be EVERYWHERE, much like Mickey D's or BK.
