'LEGO Batman' Gets His Own Movie for 2017


Everything is awesome again as the scene-stealing Caped Crusader from The LEGO Movie is getting a spinoff of his own produced by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. Will Arnett will return as the voice of Batman as Warner Bros. is pushing the sequel down the road to make room for Ninjago in 2016 and LEGO Batman for 2017.

Batman was an integral part of the movie and provided laughs with his aloof demeanor and cocky heroism. Arnett gave his best Bale-growl and practically stole the film. 

The LEGO franchise includes video games, straight-to-DVD animated movies and with the enormous success of The LEGO Movie fans can expect to see more features for years to come.
