#NYCC: First Trailer for PlayStation's First Series 'Powers' Debuts (Video)


New York Comic Con continues to be ground zero for breaking geek entertainment news. This time Sony's PlayStation Network debuted the first trailer for their first series, Powers, based on the comic book series by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming.

Detectives Christian Walker (Sharlto Copley) and Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward) investigate serious superhero-related crimes in this police procedural drama. The trailer offers some dark and intense action. 

Also starring Michelle Forbes,  Max Fowler, Adam Godley, Noah Taylor, Olesya Rulin and Eddie Izzard.

Excutive producer Charlie Huston wrote the first episode and director David Slade (30 Days of Night, Hannibal) will preside over the first two episodes, which will debut on the PlayStation Network this December.
