Thanks to USA Today, we finally get a deeper look at Arkham Manor #1 from DC Comics and writer Gerry Duggan (Shawn Crystal is the artist) just before it’s released on Wednesday. Besides some beautiful preview pages, Duggan describes his excitement working on a Bat-book.

"We're having a lot of fun not just playing with some of the old toys in the Bat toy box but making some new ones to leave behind," Duggan says. "And boy, I am getting away with murder — no pun intended."

The new series picks up after the events of Batman Eternal and Manor provides a quick refresher to catch up readers. Arkham Asylum is in shambles so where else would you house the criminally insane temporarily but at Wayne Manor of course. Here's the official synopsis:
