For Fuchs Sake, 'Wonder Woman' Movie Lands a Screenwriter

Jason Fuchs is in talks to pen the script for the Michelle MacLaren-directed feature about the iconic Amazon princess starring Gal Gadot, Wonder Woman. 

Now that the DC Comics adaptation landed their director in MacLaren the focus from Warner Bros turned to finding a screenwriter. If a deal is struck the writer of the upcoming Pan film will collaborate with the director to bring the long overdue big screen version of Wonder Woman to life.

Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016.                                                               Fuchs, who also acts, has a limited number of writing credits but became more attractive with his hot script for Pan, a retelling of Peter Pan. The studio is hoping to start a franchise if it's a hit when it debuts in 2017. One of his other movies was Ice Age: Continental Drift.                                                                                                       This may not sit well with a discerning fanbase who have been waiting a long, long time to get Wonder Woman to film. A more seasoned writer with more credits may have been a better bet. Time will tell.
