POWERS: Michelle Forbes as Retro Girl and More Stills from the PlayStation Series

Perhaps lost amid the breaking casting news of Warner Bros DC Comics adaptation, Suicide Squad, news of production stills from the live-action comic book show, Powers, could have been overlooked. Based on the series by the same name and created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, Powers is police procedural set in a town full of folks with appropriately enough, powers. Some new stills were made available exclusively to Entertainment Weekly featuring Michelle Forbes (The Killing) in costume as Retro Girl, Eddie Izzard (Hannibal) as the Wolfe among others.


The series is the first original scripted show for the fledgling PlayStation network and stars Sharlto Copley and Susan Heyward as the lead detectives in charge of investigating super-human crimes. The well regarded comic book series and this talented cast deserve a little more attention.
