'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Trailer Gets the LEGO Treatment


The highly anticipated teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens that dropped on Friday got most fans excited and set the internet ablaze with tweets of glee. It was the talk of the town about everything from the appearance of John Boyenga in a Stormtrooper outfit, to the ball droid to that new lightsaber it was only a matter of time until we got a LEGO version. 

Created by YouTuber Snooperking "out of boredom" it recreates the trailer shot-for-shot using clever stop-animation and "special effects". Despite not being a die-hard Star Wars fan the creator's result is pretty cool. Check it out.

The J.J. Abrams version comes to theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
