The Flash: Nicholas Gonzalez Cast as Cisco's Brother Dante

The Flash has been busy casting for the second half of their smashing first season. Earlier it was reported that Peyton List from CW's ill-fated The Tomorrow People and  AMC's Mad Men was cast as Captain Cold's sister, Lisa Snart. Now comes news that Nicholas Gonzalez formerly of Fox's Sleepy Hollow will be playing Cisco Ramon's older brother, Dante. 

TV Line describes the role as "handsome and charming older brother Dante, who is used to being the family favorite. Dante is a gifted pianist, but he never reached his potential and secretly resents Cisco’s success. When the brothers are thrust into extreme circumstances, Dante must rely on Cisco if they’re going to survive."

Gonzalez recently guest starred on CW's Jane the Virgin. He and List will both make their debut appearance on the sixteenth episode entitled 'Rogue Time.'

The Flash returns January 20 on The CW.
