'iZombie' Gets a Premiere Date and a Teaser Trailer


The CW announced a premiere date and revealed a trailer for the upcoming show based on the Vertigo comic book series, iZombie. The dramedy will debut on Tuesday, March 17.

 Created by Chris Roberson and Mike Allred, the comic book series comprised of elements the live-action series won't. Besides zombies the book featured monsters and the lead zombie character Olivia "Liv" Moore was a gravedigger. On the show Liv, played by Rose McIver, will be a medical examiner and help solve crimes related to the dead folks that end up in the morgue. 

 "iZombie" also stars Malcolm Goodwin (Clive Babineaux), Rahul Kohli (Dr. Chakrabarti), Robert Buckley (Majoy Lilywhite) and David Anders (Blaine DeBeers), with Veronica Mars executive producers Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright.
