With less than a month to go, History Channel’s hit historical drama, Vikings, will be jetting off to another adventure filled with violence, action, and intrigue. It's been so long since we last saw our favorite Norsemen the network released several photos and a new trailer to trumpet the arrival of season 3. 

Vikings Season 3 Episode 1 is titled "Mercenary" and airs on Thursday, February 19 at 10/9c.

The new season finds newly crowned King Ragnar off to conquer a new land with his trusted warriors at his side. The tagline for the season officially goes as follows:

“With the promise of new land from the English, Ragnar leads his people to an uncertain fate on the shores of Wessex…. Ever the restless wanderer, Ragnar is searching for something more, and he finds it in the mythical city of Paris. Rumored to be impenetrable to outside forces, Ragnar and his band of Norsemen must come together to break down its walls and cement the Vikings legend in history.”

The outstanding cast returns including Travis Fimmel (Ragnar), Katheryn Winnick(Lagertha), Clive Standen (Rollo), Alexander Ludwig (Bjorn), George Blagden (Athelstan), Jessalyn Gilsig (Siggy), Linus Roache (Ecbert), Gustaf Skarsgard (Floki) and Alyssa Sutherland (Queen Aslaug).
