A new week of awesome comics brings a monumental event at DC Comics with the beginning of their Convergence event. They've shrewdly brought back some fan favorites like Stephanie Brown and Rene Montoya as they converge characters from the DC multiverse. Check out Convergence titles for Batgirl, The Question and others while also following Convergence series by Scott Lobdell. There's plenty more out today if you're not into big publisher deck chair shuffling.
Brand new offerings include The Four Points #1 also by Scott Lobdell and Jordan Gunderson, Rebels #1 by Brian Wood and Andrea Mutti, IX Generation: Hidden Files #1 by Matt Hawkins and Stjepan Sejic, Jungle Girl Season 3 #1 by Frank Cho, Doug Murray and Jack Jadson. We also get a double dose of Mark Millar with his new series with Wilfredo Torres, Jupiter's Circle and the trade that collects Jupiter's Legacy, he did with Frank Quietly.
If previews were any indication, Reanimator #1 by Keith Davidsen and Randy Valiente, is highly anticipated. There's been a lot of site traffic on the preview we did and it should sell very well.
Todd McFarlane debuts Savior with Brian Holguin and Clayton Crain.
Two collections from DC Comics drop today - Sensation Comics featuring Wonder Woman, Vol. 1 and Harley Quinn Vol. 2: Power Outage (Hardcover) by Amanda Conner andJimmy Palmiotti.
As far as outstanding on-going and mini's go everything starts with Saga by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples. A title so good it doesn't even bother to provide any solicitation description about what it's about. The excellent Descender #2 from Jeff Lemire and Dustin Nguyen continues, Rat Queens #10 by Kurtis Wiebe and Stjepan Sejic is an all-out battle, Big Man Plans #2 Eric Powell and Tim Wiesch is brutally exciting, Hawkeye #2 by Jeff Lemire and Ramon K. Written by Todd McFarlane and Brian Holguin. Art and Cover by Clayton Crain. What if the MOST DANGEROUS man on Earth was also the one trying to do the MOST GOOD? The world is real. The people are normal. And then he appears! A man appears with no background, no memory, and no place to call home. But he has powers. Powers that seem resemble those we learned about in Sunday School. Could it be?! Is it possible that this man is much, much more than that? Is it possible that he is our 'SAVIOR' in the flesh? And if he is, then why doesn't he know who he is or how he got his powers? Strip away the spandex and trappings of the traditional comic superhero and ask yourself a simple question: 'How would I react if GOD suddenly appeared in front of me, but everything we had been taught about him seems out of whack?' What you would have left, beyond your own doubts, is the presence of a man who has to deal with the fact that his appearance in the world is seen as both a blessing and a curse. Some will see him as a hero, a messiah. Other will see him as an enemy because there isn't room for a person with god-like powers to disrupt the status quo of what we already believe. Some will rally behind him. Others will denounce him. But none of us will be able to ignore him. Cover price $2.99.

How many rhetorical questions can we ask in one paragraph of solicit text?? Find out in this hyperbole-packed issue! Cover price $3.99.
