Amid all the hoopla surrounding the trailer release, the IMAX event, and the poster reveals of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice comes the first close look at the new Batmobile and a closer look at the costumes.
Bleacher Report is known for their sports coverage but in the video below they explain how the Los Angeles Clippers center, DeAndre Jordan, is a big Batman fan. During a recent visit to the Warner Bros Studio Tour, he got a surprise first live look at the new Batmobile being featured in the upcoming Zack Snyder comic book movie epic.
He aptly describes it as "a tank, a car, and a plane," after trying to stuff his 6'11" frame into the cockpit. He also got a close look at the costumes designed for Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). Superman's attire remains relatively unchanged from Man of Steel while the others are the first of their kind to appear on film.
Batman's costume is heavily influenced by Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns with the black and gray color scheme and the big black bat symbol on the chest. With some additional lighting, we get a better look at Wonder Woman's colors which were missing from the one official image that was released. She's also holding a shield which makes her warrior princess persona come to reality.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice debuts in theaters on March 25, 2016.
