NO SAD STUFF: Group Art Show Inspired by Tom Hanks Films


This Saturday, from 7-10 PM at G1988 (West), opens the newest group show, NO SAD STUFF, a group show inspired by Tom Hanks films from 1984-1994. This exhibit will feature artists creating paintings, prints and sculptures all influenced by the lighter side of the actor's resume, in the early part of his career, when laughs were his main goal. There will be pieces depicting movies like The Money Pit, Forrest Gump, Big, The Burbs, Dragnet, Turner & Hooch and Splash.
