Oscar Isaac 'Awakens' a Killer Version of Bill Murray's SNL 'Star Wars' Theme


Shortly before 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' demolished box office records and dominated theaters world wide, 'Poe Dameron' himself, Oscar Isaac, sat down with GQ Magazine in Spain for an in-depth interview about his upbringing, his career, and the megastardom a cultural phenomenon like 'Star Wars' brings. Luckily, the GQ session also included a delightful rendition of Bill Murray's SNL lounge singer doing the theme from 'Star Wars' by the multitalented actor and musician. 


Oscar Isaac is no stranger to the guitar: in fact, he might never have gotten his big break in Llewyn Davis without it, as as he points out in the January cover story (http://www.gq.com/story/oscar-isaac-s...). To put him to the test, we asked if he could cover Bill Murray’s iconic Star Wars lounge singer sketch from Saturday Night Live. (Hint: we just might like this version better than the original.)
