First 'Wonder Woman' Poster is the Epitome of Power and Grace

Even cynical DC Films critics can appreciate this lovely and brightly colored movie poster for Patty Jenkins' 'Wonder Woman' film. Diana Prince herself Gal Gadot took to twitter to drop the print that features her in semi-silhouette exposing the colors of her costume in front of a blue sky amid a plume of orange dust while holding a mighty sword.

 Power. Grace. Wisdom. Wonder. These words make up the tagline in this colorful teaser poster ahead of the Wonder Woman 75th-anniversary panel that will take place on Saturday, July 23 at the San Diego Comin-Con featuring Gadot, Jenkins, DC Comics co-publisher Jim Lee and artist Nicola Scott as panelists.We're likely to get a movie trailer as well and if last year's Comic-Con was any indication we could see it go online soon after.

After making her debut in this year's 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,' Gadot will reprise her role as the Amazon princess in her own film debuting next year. It also stars Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saïd Taghmaoui. 

“Wonder Woman” hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Joining Gadot in the international cast are Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saïd Taghmaoui. Jenkins directs the film from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, story by Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg, based on characters from DC Entertainment. Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston. The film is produced by Charles Roven, Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder and Richard Suckle, with Rebecca Roven, Stephen Jones, Wesley Coller and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers. Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with RatPac-Dune Entertainment, an Atlas Entertainment/Cruel and Unusual production, “Wonder Woman.”
