'Luke Cage' Reluctantly Goes to War in New "Streets" Trailer

In this Marvel live action series, a street-fighting ex-con battles crime on the streets of New York as the Super Hero, Luke Cage.

Mike Colter stars as Luke Cage in this latest trailer for the Marvel/Netflix series that debuts this Friday, September 30. 

This is the most footage released yet as it shows Luke's reluctance at first to get involved in protecting Harlem from a local crime boss. Encouraged by Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson, reprising her role from Daredevil and Jessica Jones), Luke sets out to bring justice to the streets of Harlem. 

 The show also stars Mahershala Ali (Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes), Alfre Woodard (Mariah Dillard), Simone Missick (Misty Knight), Theo Rossi (Shades), and Frank Whaley (Rafael Scarfe).

Marvel’s Luke Cage is the third show in the Defenders series to launch on Netflix. It follows Marvel’s Daredevil and Marvel’s Jessica Jones, leading up to the future release of Marvel’s Iron Fist, and ultimately, Marvel’s The Defenders.
