New Cover Art for Second Printing of Bestselling 'Rain Like Hammers' Coming from Image

The all-new science fiction mystery Rain Like Hammers by Brandon Graham has hooked fans of King City and Prophet and has sold out at the distributor level. Image Comics will rush the extra-length first issue in the miniseries back to print in order to keep up with growing customer demand. The second printing will feature new cover art by Graham.

Eugene is a new inhabitant of Elephant, a walking city on the desert world of Crown Majesty. Far from friends and family, he spends most of his time navigating melancholy daydreams, toying with alien technology, and researching the best places to find high-quality fast food. At best, his life is lonely and monotonous—but all of that changes when a mysterious force begins destroying Crown Majesty’s walking cities! Readers won’t want to miss out on the next chapter of the hi-fi, sci-fi mystery—Ran Like Hammers.

"I'm ecstatic at the response to the first issue," said Graham. "It's been great seeing how many people seem to enjoy and connect with something I made to process my own feelings."

Rain Like Hammers #1, second printing (Diamond Code DEC209013) will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, February 24.

Rain Like Hammers #1 will also be available for purchase across many digital platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play.

Select praise for Rain Like Hammers:

“A lonely and oddly breathtaking look at depression, change, and the used future we may find ourselves in.” —Monkeys Fighting Robots

“Graham's tremendous artwork is hypnotic throughout… examines the micro and macro of life that feels uniquely distant and all too familiar.” —ComicBook.com

“Graham does fantastic work with the visual language of his world and his distinctive style leaves a lasting impression that sits with you in the best possible way. It is engrossing and engaging and is a perfect slow rollout of a story. Rain Like Hammers has a very specific energy that I am very specifically vibing to, but I'm really excited to see how the rest of the mini-series unfolds.” —Black Nerd Problems
