Imagine Adam West's Batman and Ben Affleck's Batman switching earths and you get the gist of this wonderfully entertaining new series from Ahoy Comics. You can already imagine the culture shock for each hero while on the wrong earth and this amusing but earnest mystery story is tailor-,made for comic book fans that appreciate the medium and all its multiverse possibilities. 

Tom Peyer makes this story completely accessible without having to read (but you should anyway) the original series, The Wrong Earth. Dragonflyman's honorable boy scout hero juxtaposed with Dragonfly's grittier streetfighter is a fun counterbalance that doesn't get too campy or silly but instead sticks to the task at hand, catching bad guys while trying to figure out how to get back to their respective worlds. 

Jamal Igle, Juan Castro, and Andy Troy create a great looking comic with well-choreographed fight scenes and rich warm colors. Igle's pencils and Castro's inks create a lot of depth and cinematic panels while Troy's colors flesh it all out. The result is an exciting story that alternates between two distinctive worlds with enough nuance and style to distinguish each other. 

The Wrong Earth: Night and Day captures the imagination with a fun premise and some interesting meta moments, fantastic art. Peyer and Igle take what could've been a campy sendup of familiar tropes and made a genuinely entertaining superhero story that doesn't disappoint.
